Whilst this ensures continuity of supply across our inventory, kitting and manufacturing services, this independent supply chain is available to our entire customer base to help with lead-time, cost or obsolescence issues. As with all of our franchised products, our independent distribution also benefits from the support of Azcon’s existing supply chain management features such as Kanban, Consignment Stock, and Customer Dedicated Inventory.
For obsolete parts, Azcon can purchase and pipeline such stock for up to 24 months to enable a smooth transition to alternative parts or a new design. In addition, parts can be issued directly, at no additional cost, to our manufacturing company, K2A Electronic Manufacturing Services. We can then provide competitive box build, PCB Assembly and cable assembly services if required.
